National Association of Entrepreneurship Institutions (NAEI)

The National Association of Entrepreneurship Institutions (NAEI) is a business trade organization under the Micro-Business Enterprise Association (MBEA) LLC. It was established to promote and teach the Modern American Entrepreneurship Philosophy in public and private schools, colleges and other entrepreneurial institutions. This philosophy teaches the team concept for business development as opposed to the individual focus method of training new entrepreneurs. The old entrepreneurial training method relies on the background and limited experience of the business owner as it presupposes that they are sufficiently qualified to develop a concept and a reliable business structure that is necessary to compete successfully in the global marketplace. This traditional method of growing a business, using trial and error, is too slow for the new fast-paced global marketplace.

This Modern American Entrepreneurship Philosophy also encourages the building of business ventures on growth and expansion platforms with business development teams available to owners when needed. A typical business development team consists of marketing consultants, management consultants, lawyers, accountants and certified international traders. These business development teams are attached to Small Business Development Incubators (SBDIs) and other affiliate entrepreneurial training institutions.  It endorses Certified Business Models and Franchises with their core concept and management structure tested in the actual marketplace. Since a Certified Business Model is the first step in the franchising process, it uses a systematic approach to starting and growing a business venture. The Certified Business Model is a predictable method for growing a business, which is why it is preferred by new millennium venture capitalists, private investors, banks and other lending institutions.

The major advantage of a team focused business development process is the attachment of business development teams, to third party verifying organizations that can provide network support to business model owners before and after funding. Authorized third party verifying organizations are the exclusive providers for Certified Business Models and Franchises. This is an advanced business development process for growing a small business venture within a niche market.

In order to teach micro-business principles in public schools, a Modern American Entrepreneurial Training and Education Program was established. This training program offers young people who are entering the workforce, a secondary business career option, which prepares them for self-employment or an independent business venture. Our entrepreneurial training program allows newly trained entrepreneurs to graduate into a network support system.
